Helpful Links

Hi All!
Please see below for some links that I found very helpful through this journey of loss and stillbirth. If you have any that you think would be good to add, just leave a comment and I'd be happy to add it on!

Faces of Loss- http://facesofloss.com/ A place where loss mamas can post their stories and there are many other helpful items as well.

Share Pregnancy & Infant Loss Support Inc.- http://www.nationalshare.org/ This is a place that offers support and actually sponsors local support groups throughout the nation.

My Forever Child- http://www.myforeverchild.com/ A place to buy memorial jewelry and other items for your angel baby(ies).

The Bump (Loss Board)- http://community.thebump.com/cs/ks/forums/13224460/ShowForum.aspx This is a community board on thebump.com for late loss mamas (there is also one for miscarriage on thebump.com if that suits your needs more specifically). The women that I have met through this board are some of the most amazing, wonderful, strong and kind-hearted women I have ever met! This board helped me the most out of all the outlets I have gone to.

October 15th- http://www.october15th.com/ This is a website dedicated to pregnancy and infant loss. It is named October 15th because that is now the pregnancy and infant loss remembrance day. They also have items you can buy to support the cause and remember your angel baby(ies).

Alexandra's House- http://www.alexandrashouse.com/ This is local to KC. They are an organization set up to help women who's children have been given a fatal diagnosis but they have chosen to carry to term. They also have support groups for all pregnancy and infant loss families.

Names in the Sand (Christian's Beach)- http://namesinthesand.blogspot.com/ This site is founded by a woman who lost her son in 2007. After having a dream of her son, she decided to start writing childrens' names in the sand on a beach in Australia. You can have her write your child/ren's name(s) in the sand and she will then post it on her memorial site. You can also buy the jpeg of your sunset for about $21. I got Ava's done (off to the side) and it's beautiful!
